July 13, 2011: "My student, Asia Adell, qualified for the US Women's Amateur Championship in a 3-way playoff. The medalist shot 72, Asia 75. The event will be played at Rhode Island C.C., a 1911 Donald Ross course. Asia is a 19-year old freshman at Cal Poly, and I have been teaching her for the past several years. Click to read a story about her at the official Cal Poly website.

July 13, 2011: "One of my students from New Haven, CT, shot 58 last summer at New Haven C.C. His name is Evan Brien, age 21, and he just graduated from St. John's University. He will be at PGA Tour Q School this Fall. I first taught Evan when he was 10. It will be fun to watch his professional progress."

"Thanks for all your help - she has shot her best round by 2 shots, two different times since we have started with you so I know it is paying off."--Jim Donizio, father of 15-year old Jamie.

"Again thanks so much for everything! I really do appreciate it! You're the best!"--Asia Adell, US Women's Amateur Qualifier.
